Terms

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and notify ArtBFF if you believe the account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for ensuring that people using it have authority to do so.

ArtBFF provides tools for artwork records, image preparation, documents, invoices, event planning, contact management and artist newsletters. Features may be improved, limited, repaired or changed as the service develops. ArtBFF will make reasonable efforts to protect data and maintain availability, but cannot promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Keep your own copies of business-critical artwork information and finished documents. ArtBFF is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, accounting, conservation or archival advice.

You retain ownership of artwork, images, text, logos, contacts and other content you add. You give ArtBFF the limited permission needed to host, process, resize, display and send that content only to operate the features you choose. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and use the content.

Do not use ArtBFF to break the law, infringe rights, distribute harmful material, probe security, disrupt the service, misrepresent identity, send spam or upload a purchased or unlawfully obtained contact list. Newsletter use must also follow the ArtBFF Email Rules.

Invoice templates and calculations are convenience tools. You are responsible for checking customer details, currency, numbering, tax labels, tax rates, totals, required disclosures and record-keeping rules in every country where you do business.

You are the sender of newsletters created from your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of sender details, the lawful basis and permission for each recipient, the content of each campaign and compliance with laws applying to your audience. ArtBFF may block or pause sending to protect recipients, deliverability or the service.

A free trial does not require a card. Before a paid subscription starts, ArtBFF shows the plan, currency, recurring price, included usage and first charge date. A subscription starts only after you choose a plan and confirm it in Stripe's secure checkout. A free, trial or founding account is never charged merely because its free period ends.

Plan prices are shown in US dollars. Where Australian GST applies to your purchase it is included in the advertised price and itemised on your invoice; the exact amount you will pay is always shown in checkout before you confirm. You are responsible for any other taxes or charges that apply to your purchase in your country. Provider, usage and fair-use limits may apply and are shown with each plan.

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel or manage payment details from Billing at any time; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period shown there, and you keep access until then. If a renewal payment fails, ArtBFF allows a short grace period for the payment to be retried before the workspace becomes read-only; your data is not deleted because a payment failed.

If a plan's recurring price changes, existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product before the new price applies to their next renewal, so there is always time to cancel first.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law. If the service has a major failure you are entitled to the remedies that law provides, which can include a refund.

Beyond those rights, charges already incurred are not refunded for change of mind or for partly used billing periods — cancelling instead stops the next renewal. If you believe a charge was taken in error, contact hello@artbff.com and it will be investigated promptly; billing mistakes are corrected, not argued with.

You may stop using the service at any time. ArtBFF may restrict or end access where needed for security, legal compliance, non-payment after paid plans begin, abusive sending or a serious breach of these terms. Where practical, reasonable notice and an opportunity to export data will be provided.

You can download an export of your workspace from Settings at any time, and you can ask for your account and its content to be permanently deleted (see the Privacy Notice, or write to privacy@artbff.com).

To the extent permitted by law, ArtBFF is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost sales, lost profits or loss caused by third-party services, internet outages, inaccurate user content or unauthorised use of an account. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. If these terms materially change, the change will be shown in the product or sent to the account email before it takes effect, and the effective date above will be updated.
